Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026

Who we are

Life in the UK Pass Smart is run by Miss Tetteh, a sole trader in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). We are responsible for your personal data. You can contact us about privacy using the form on our Contact page.

What we collect

Your name and email address when you create an account or enrol; records of your purchase and of your consent to immediate access; your course progress; messages you send us; your profile, photo and posts if you join our student study group; and basic technical data such as cookies and device information.

Why we use it

To provide the course you bought (contract); to keep purchase and consent records and meet tax and consumer law (legal obligation); to answer your messages and keep the site secure and working (legitimate interests); and to send you marketing emails only if you have agreed (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Student study group

If you join our private study group, your name, profile photo and posts can be seen by other enrolled students. Please do not post personal details such as phone numbers, addresses or ID documents.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the site, including Wix (website, accounts, courses and forms), our payment providers and our email provider. They only use your data to provide their services to us. Some may process data outside the UK, with legal safeguards in place. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep account and course data while you have access and for up to 2 years afterwards. We keep purchase records for 6 years for tax purposes.

Cookies and your device

We use cookies that are needed for the site to work and, if you agree, cookies that help us understand how the site is used. Our practice quizzes and mock exams save your progress and scores in your own browser on your device.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. Contact us through our Contact page. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page.
